Hi Samantha! I totally feel you. I was a teenager in the mid to late 1980s. It was unthinkable to even suggest that I wish I were a transgender female. Heck, I don’t even believe we had that term yet to describe the third gender. It’s a shame.
I’ve never been comfortable with who I am and at 47, I’ve resigned myself to living as a cis-gender male. I’m not Caitlyn Jenner and have nowhere the resources to undergo what she has gone.
It’s too bad. When I was much younger, people would comment at how feminine I looked. If it hadn’t been such “taboo,” and had there been as many facilities/options available to me as there are for so many girls today, I just may have looked as good as Kylie! Well, she IS one in a million!
